Kinja'd!!!

I've swapped all the parts that I can between the green one and the silver one, I've gotten the green one as clean as I can, I've taken pictures of it, now I just have to list it. Its hard to believe I bought it a year ago this month. Its going to be hard to see it go.

Also, I'm thinking about taking it to Carmax just to see what they'd give me. Worth the time or not?

P.S. Redheads later. And another Subaru update in a few days. You'll be able to see just how obsessed I am then :D

This is impressive. Did you sell the chassis afterwards? Wow.

Ended up giving it way. I didn't have time to haul it to the scrap yard, and no one wanted to pay me for it. Two guys came with a ratty F150 long bed, and somehow got it loaded into the bed and hauled it away. It was quite comical.

I mostly worked on it after hours at work. Once the drivetrain and suspension was swapped over to my wagon over the first weekend, I think it took me another two weeks to get it down to nothing except the glass, and the fuel tank left on the shell.

Need a proper hoist or I'd have the 97k motor in that beast in the nicer one.

I know, but maybe it will be enough to make it worth not having to deal with CL buyers.

when I say lowball I mean, don't be shocked if they offer you 500 dollars for this car. They are really really stingy bastards to try and maximize profits

$500: I'll deal with CL
$1000: probably take it and run.
$1000+: take it and run, breaking into manical laughter as soon as I drive away.

huh, surprised noone wanted what appears to be a straight shell. I sold my twisted and broken Civic SI shell for scrap, they even came and picked it up.

It was quite rusted in the quarters, and had been wrecked and repaired but was straight.

But the salvage yards in the area would not pick it up unless it was a roller. I had already sold/removed the suspension. Oops.

lol

yeah mine rolled... just! I replaced the suspension with wood, and once on the flatbed I took my wheels. Oh and the wood cracked and snapped as it was winched down on the truck.
